St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, and Clearwater - Fishing Charter & Guide Information
Inshore Fishing Charters:
Inshore charters often find anglers chasing popular species of fish like snook and redfish on the pristine grass flats of Tampa Bay and Boca Ciega Bay or fishing within 9 miles of St. Pete Beach for tackle busting species like King Mackeral, grouper and snapper.
If there is a specific trip you have in mind, be sure to advise your captain so he can plan accordingly.
Different seasons offer different fishing opportunities, and Capt. Spencer wants to ensure his anglers the best possible trip based on what is available. Rates are based on two anglers, any additional passengers are an extra $50 per person. Limit is 6 total passengers (please be advised, 4 passenger max is recommended).
Half Day (4 hours) - $400
¾ Day (6 hours) - $550
Full Day (8 hours) - $700
Tarpon Fishing Charters:
Join Capt. Spencer chasing one of the world’s most sought after game fish: the elusive silver king. These mighty beasts are caught as early as March and April and can be targeted as late as October and November, with May, June, July, August and September being the prime months. Tarpon are a migratory species that travel up the coast along Florida’s pristine beaches and into the Tampa Bay estuary. The ways we target tarpon vary widely, from sight casting to large schools along St. Pete Beach, drifting for them around iconic Egmont Key, or fishing around the pilings of the famous Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
Nighttime charters are also available to beat the summer heat, and can often be some of the most productive trips available! Capt. Spencer sets himself apart from his peers with his tarpon fishing ability, having gained priceless knowledge working for and fishing with some of Tampa Bay’s great tarpon anglers.
Rates are based on two anglers, any additional passengers are an extra $50 per person. Limit is 4 passengers. Full day charters come with a money back guarantee – if we don’t jump at least 1 fish, then you don’t pay! Full day charters also include a 1 hour lunch during slow tidal points during the day (lunch breaks do not count against total fishing time).
